Lancashire Wedding Music : Lancashire wedding piano and bands
The North West's Specialists in Intimate Daytime Wedding Music
Dream Day Music is a provider of quality live musicians for North West civil wedding ceremonies, receptions and other special events. We specialise in small, intimate wedding entertainment options for the daytime celebrations: wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts. Our experienced singers and musicians' repertoires are carefully selected to complement these parts of the day perfectly in a range of musical styles, and all are able to learn requests quickly for that personal touch.
The majority of our weddings are in Lancashire — most commonly, our bookings are for Preston, Clitheroe, Wrea Green, Leyland, Southport and Lancaster — with many bookings a year in Cheshire and The Lake District too.
Full time Professional Session Musicians and Singers
Our wedding music is performed by full-time professional singers and session musicians on piano, saxophone, violin, flute, guitar etc, and wedding vocal duos with high-end wedding singers accompanied on various instruments. Several have performed for or alongside houshold names, ranging from Russell Watson to Bryan Adams, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra to Craig David.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch for no obligation information or quotes. We'd be honoured to be a part of your Dream Day.

Dream Day Music: Make It Personal...
Dream Day Music prides itself on offering that personal touch that simply can't be provided by entertainment agencies and promoters. A family run business, we're here to advise you every step of the way. Music is a mystery to so many people, and we want you to feel like you're in good hands that you can rely on to organise everything to perfection.
Wedding Ceremony Music
We offer the perfect musicians on the perfect instruments for all parts of the daytime celebrations: from your wedding ceremony through until the early parts of the evening reception.
We want your ceremony music to be as individual as you are: our clients choose exactly the wedding ceremony music they want, with songs personal to them. There is never a pre-selected list to choose from. For most civil ceremony music, you will need:
- Two pieces for immediately before the entrance
- The entrance music itself (processional)
- Two pieces for the signing of the register
- Your exit music (recessional)
Our musicians may entertain guests in the ceremony room awaiting the bride's entrance, and will carefully select the music based on your ceremony song choices and discussions with you about your favourite styles of music, singers etc.
We do of course cater for LGBT civil partnerships and LGBT weddings, specialising in intimate classy live music for gay weddings, lesbian weddings and civil partnership ceremonies for homosexual couples' weddings.

Our musicians have sensibilities and repertoires honed for daytime entertainment; your daytime entertainment should be personal to you, and will usually provide simply a background ambiance to your celebrations. We leave anything too in-your-face to the DJs!
Our cocktail reception musicians include:
- acoustic singers
- string quartets
- saxophone players
Each has a large repertoire across a range of styles, developed over years of performing at wedding venues, and will select all material based around your musical preferences and the range of guests on the day, allowing for a truly unique selection of music. All of our performers are able - and willing - to learn new songs quickly, allowing our clients to request songs personal to them. Many offer requests to guests on the day too.

Our usual instruction for wedding breakfasts is to provide easy listening background music to create the perfect atmosphere for guests to dine and chat. Being able to do so doesn't just mean playing quietly. It means selecting the right music (which, again, our musicians will do entirely based upon your preferences) and using the right instruments and equipment.
Our musicians have years of experience in selecting the right material for this important part of a wedding day, which in turn allows them to help advise you on your music choices to make sure you have the correct styles of music and specific songs, whilst (as is always our endeavour) ensuring that you get entertainment that means something to you. The right music during your wedding breakfast will bring back memories for a lifetime.
